The funeral of Ira, the 14-year-old son of Mrs. Catherine Maxwell who died with diphtheria, was held at sundown last evening. There were no services at the house and nobody there except members of the family. Short services were conducted by Rev. Stafford at the Masonic cemetery where the interment took place - kbz

Ira, the 14 year old son of Mrs. John Maxwell, died last night at the old Maxwell homestead, just east of the city, of diphtheria. The burial occurred this afternoon at the Masonic Cemetery.
